Projects
THE AMERICAN DREAM BEGINS WITH A JOB!

We are putting people to work replacing blighted houses -

- with new, affordable, energy-efficient townhouses.
Once construction is completed, the funds received from the sale of the properties will provide the means to keep people working constructing additional units. This means that your donation will truly be a gift that keeps on giving.
The initial project will be in Kansas City, Missouri. As additional funds are raised, we will put crews to work in other cities.
Synergies: The homes that we construct will be townhouses built around the periphery of a square block. The area in the middle of the properties will be developed with a playground and other amenities. Apart from a service gate for maintenance, the only access to this common area will be through the townhouses. This will provide a safe space for children to play and enhance the opportunities for the occupants of the townhouses to develop a strong sense of community.

We're putting people to work turning areas like this -

- into areas like this!
“There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life — happiness, freedom, and peace of mind — are always attained by giving them to someone else.” – Peyton Conway March
REFORESTATION PROJECT
The Workfare Incorporated Reforestation Project (rather obviously) involves planting trees. Lots and lots of trees. In addition to creating jobs, our reforestation project will help to combat climate change and habitat destruction.
While some of the workers on this project may come from urban areas, a secondary goal of the Reforestation Project is to revitalize small towns and rural areas by providing jobs to the inhabitants.
WITH YOUR HELP these socially useful projects will provide immediate relief for our presently unemployed fellow Americans, enabling them to support themselves and their families.
A “jobless recovery” from the current recession will help Wall Street. We need a jobs-based recovery to end the suffering of the millions of our fellow citizens who are willing and able to work, but unable to find a job.
